We went out yesterday, and I have lots of nice new pictures to share. : ) I LOVE LOVE LOVE the green of the cress! Spring makes me so happy. : )
A corner, with dead leaves....I thought afterwards I should have tried it with Anna in it, too.

These next few are the view from Copper Ridge...LOVE that view!

Train track and tunnel...and sunbeams! I didn't see the sunbeams until I loaded the pics on the computer...I thought they made the picture nicer.

We came across this coolest old house. There is a sign not too far (about a mile or so) from it that talks about the first settlers moving into the area about 1780, and it wouldn't surprise me a bit if this house wasn't from that era. It's logs, under the siding, but the roof is damaged (on the left in the picture) and the loft is already destroyed, so the floor won't be far behind, then the walls will come down.....it's a shame, it's too nice a house to let fall down. A couple pieces of tin would fix the problem. : (

The house is on one of the rockiest farms I've ever seen. The farmer has picked up all these rocks and piled them (I wondered why he didn't go ahead and make stone walls with them). There were lots of smaller piles around the property, this was the largest and neatest pile...most of the others were just tossed into piles.
